Scott Tallent, President and Paralegal

Tallent Title Group is headed by Scott Tallent. Born and raised in
 Knoxville, Tennessee,Scott began working
part time in the title industry while in high school. After
graduating in 1999 from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Human Ecology-Marketing/Business,
Scott began working full time in the industry as an abstractor. In 2003, after much consideration,
Scott left the title industry for a brief stint and moved to New York City to start a business
career in the sports apparel industry.
After returning back to Knoxville, Tennessee in late 2003,
Scott continued his work with the sports apparel company and started working again part time in the
title industry through the end of 2006. At the beginning of 2007 and with considerable thought,
Scott decided to start the title company, Tallent Title Group, Inc. Scott has structured the
company’s drive on the foundation of customer service. A value he and TTG’s clients hold extremely
important, especially in the title industry. As a result, Tallent Title Group has continued to
develop excellent relationships with lenders, realtors, builders and other colleagues in the title
industry. It’s these relationships and unwillingness efforts of providing customer service to clients
that makes Tallent Title Group most proud. “It’s a commitment to our clients to provide excellent

Whitney D. Tallent Wilson, Secretary/Treasurer

 Whitney was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. After graduating Halls High
School in 2001, she was accepted to Charleston Southern University, a liberal
arts university in Charleston, South Carolina. Soon realizing she aspired for a
career in the marketing/advertising field, she transferred to the University of
Tennessee Knoxville for a more in depth experience in the marketing/advertising
field.
Whitney worked throughout high school and college for her mother, Carolyn C.
Tallent, at the title company her mother co-owned/founded, Abstract Title, Inc.
Upon earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2005 at the
University of Tennessee, Whitney went to work in the local broadcast television
industry in Knoxville, Tennessee. A year and a half into her career, her
brother, Scott Tallent, presented the idea of utilizing their experience in the
title business to create a family title company. Tallent Title Group, Inc.
opened its doors for operation on March 1, 2007. |
